WhatsApp may soon rollout password protection for chat backups

Instant messaging app WhatsApp is said to be working on increasing the security of chat backups. As per a tweet by WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned app is working on encrypting chat backups, as a result of which, only users will be able to access them.
