Google Messages may stop working on some Android devices in March

Google Messages may soon stop working on some Android smartphones. According to a report by 9to5Google, Google intends to stop its messaging service on uncertified Android devices in March this year. The notice was spotted in the app code of beta app version 7.2 of the Google Messages app. “On March 31, Messages will stop working on uncertified devices, including this one,” reads the app code notice.
