Android users, here's how you can save your smartphone's battery according to Google

Using apps that use dark theme has been found to drain the phone’s battery a lot less than in the normal mode, both on Android and iOS. The reason behind this is that a dark smartphone screen has need of far lesser number of pixels and this enhances the battery life. Google also admitted to this fact during the Android Dev Summit this week. The tech giant displayed several slides showing how different colours have different power-drawing capacities and compared them.
