Xiaomi smartphone allegedly codenamed SDM855 will not run on the upcoming top-end Snapdragon processor

The Snapdragon 855 is unlikely to power smartphones till next year. As per the previous rumours, Qualcomm is already working on the chipset and expected to unveil it in the upcoming Qualcomm Summit by the end of this year. Earlier, a Sony smartphone with the codename H8526 was said to be the processor surfaced on Geekbench. Now, a Xiaomi smartphone has appeared on Geekbench with the codename Xiaomi SDM855 for arm64.
