This Microsoft Windows app has got a much-needed upgrade

As part of the improvements, Notepad will now support Ctrl + Backspace to delete the previous word; arrow keys will now correctly unselect text first and then move the cursor and performance. As per the blog, Microsoft has also improved the performance when opening large files in Notepad.
